Sean Weber
In September, I am riding 275 miles across 3 states towards 1 destination: the end of AIDS.
As you may know, Cycle for the Cause benefits The LGBT Center in New York City. As a community center,
The Center's work is far-reaching. They do incredible work for marriage equality and the antiviolence project,
and they provide HIV/AIDS programs as well. Please help me, help others and together we can make a difference in someone's life.
Although I've particpated in this ride on the crew, this will be my first year as a rider and I am really excited about it.
I haven't ever trained for something like this, I've only ever ridden for fun. I've chosen to ride to support those that
have been infected with HIV/AIDS and for the countless others out there that will continue to be infected, due to a lack
of education and resources available.
Over the years, I've seen an increasing complacency surrounding HIV/AIDS awareness and education, which makes a
place like The Center even more important today. Until there's a cure for HIV/AIDS, people of all ages, backgrounds
and financial levels need a place where they can go to feel safe and receive education and safe-sex resources.
Please help me reach my goal! If you would like to donate, any amount that you are able to give will help this very important cause.
Thank you,
Sean Weber
