There are many reasons I do this ride. I do this ride in honor of my younger brother, friends, and everyone dealing with this virus. I ride not only to help fight HIV/AIDS but also to raise awareness. Why do I choose Braking The Cycle when I live in California, you ask? This ride is more than a ride. This ride is a family. This will be my fourth year riding with my amazing Braking The Cycle family. The compassion, encouragement, and love given freely on this ride is unlike anything I have experienced. We laugh and cry together. We deal with tough situations together. In the end, we ride in together. Togetherness is the theme of this ride and it's through togetherness that we raise awareness, hope, and money. These are the reasons I ride. I am truly blessed and honored to be a part of Team Eagle.
