I am riding in Cycle for the Cause in memory of my father Jose Bruno who died of this terrible disease. In addition for my close friends who are currently infected, that one day this will no longer be an issue and a vaccine is found. In spite of the challenges there will be while riding from Boston to New York, it is nothing compared to the challenges faced by those with HIV/AIDS. I ride to help those that have no insurance, medicine and are in need of help that they have an opportunity to have their needs met. I ride because I care and will show it with my actions. I'm committed to this great cause and to help make a difference in someone's life. If only one person's life is improved by my riding and raising of funds, then every pedal to the metal was worth it.
