I am proud to be participating in this year's ride as one of the younger riders.
This year I am riding for a number of reasons, the first being for my uncle who
passed away from AIDS in the early 90s. I also ride for young adults my age and
younger who grew up after the worst part of the epidemic and need HIV/AIDS
advocacy that they can relate to. Lastly, I ride for myself. Nearly two years
ago I became positive and since then I've not only been surviving but thriving.
I'm ready to bike 300 miles this September to prove that together we can put an
end to the HIV/AIDS epidemic once and for all!
