Amanda "pup" Farrell
Ms. NJ Leather 2005, American Leatherwoman 2005
For the past three years, I rode in the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's "Coast to Coast Bike Ride" 170 miles from Monmouth, NJ to Cape May, NJ. My team and I have helped raise over a $100,000 to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis.
This year I have registered for "Braking the Cycle" with Team Eagle NYC for a couple of reasons. I want to do something for the people who have been affected with HIV and AIDS and by doing so maybe this will help prevent more people from contracting HIV and AIDS. Over the years, I have met many folks who are living and dying from HIV and AIDS.
I ask you to please make donations; by working together, we can increase awareness, prevention, and treatment of HIV and AIDS. Promise to help make a difference in the fight against these diseases. I recognize that the keys to these goals lie in education of the facts of the disease, the issues at hand, and the methods with which to fight it.
I will ride proudly along with "Team Eagle" not only in the ride, but also in increasing awareness within my own communities.
